The mission of the AEF is to accelerate and sustain student achievement in Atlanta’s public schools by enhancing the community’s capacity to lead, support, monitor, and advocate for effective education reforms.

Modeled after successful local education funds and best practices in other cities, AEF will focus on three key functions in carrying out its mission:
• Keeping the public informed and involved,
• Researching, evaluating and monitoring progress in the schools, and
• Supporting key reform initiatives that "move the needle" on student achievement. |
